ℹ️ Multi-Tenant Architecture
Private connector data is stored in market_signals with source_type='private' and tenant_id='agilent'. It appears in the unified MarketIQ signal feed alongside public data. All private data is tenant-isolated — other tenants cannot see Agilent's data. The connector architecture is defined in private-connector-interface.ts.
📐 Connector Data Flow
All connectors extend BasePrivateConnector and use the same insertPrivateSignal() method. Tenant isolation is enforced by tenant_id on every row.
🌐 Public Data Sources
Free / ToS-clean external sources feeding the PFAS graph. Active = live ingest completed; Coming Soon = wiring on the roadmap.
OpenAlex
● ActiveScholarly works, authors, institutions, citations, and funders. Powers PFAS paper ingest, author h-index enrichment, and institution resolution. Premium-pool API key configured.
NIH RePORTER
● ActiveFree API for every NIH-funded project. Current PFAS dataset: 1,145 grants totaling $623M. PIs fuzzy-matched to person nodes via normalized name + institution.
Semantic Scholar
● ActiveSecondary publication source for PFAS-specific queries. Rate-limited (3s delay) without a paid key; falls back gracefully.
Grants.gov
○ Coming SoonFederal funding opportunities across EPA, DOE, USDA, DoD. Scheduled for the next ingest wave — NIH RePORTER covers the current PFAS grant volume.
NSF Awards API
○ Coming SoonNational Science Foundation awards — heavier in chemistry & engineering PFAS research programs than NIH, complementary to NIEHS.

● ActiveFree 10-K / 10-Q / 8-K full-text search for every tracked US-listed public company. Extracts PFAS excerpts with source URLs; rows appear in Recent Market Signals and are clickable on company detail pages.
USPTO Patent Grants
● ActiveWeekly Red Book patent grant bulk feed (local mirror). 136 PFAS patents ingested from 12 weeks of 2025. INVENTED_BY edges link inventors to patents; 14 inventors are also PFAS paper authors. Assignees: Daikin, Panasonic, Saudi Aramco, UC System, LG Energy. Vendor mentions inside patent specs: Thermo 22 · Agilent 17 · Shimadzu 14 · Bruker 11 · Waters 8 · PerkinElmer 8.
